Crafted with premium real walnut veneer, each piece showcases authentic timber grain patterns and rich tonal depth. With thoughtful everyday care, your walnut finish dining table will age gracefully and remain the stunning centrepiece of your dining space for years to come.

Good Habits

• Dine with care: Always use coasters, placemats, and heat trivets beneath hot cookware, chilled glasses, or ceramic tableware to shield the fine satin lacquer and delicate walnut veneer from heat rings and moisture marks.

• Gentle dusting: Dust regularly along the direction of the natural grain using a soft, dry microfibre cloth to prevent dust particles from settling into the wood grain.

• Pad your centrepieces: Affix soft felt protector pads beneath vases, decorative bowls, and laptops to prevent micro-abrasions when adjusting tableware across the walnut finish.

• Balanced sunlight & heat: Keep your walnut veneer table away from continuous direct sunlight and radiant heat sources (such as direct radiator proximity) to avoid uneven timber mellowing and safeguard the rich walnut finish.

• Lift, never drag: Always lift your table with two people when moving or repositioning. Dragging places unnecessary torque on the fixings, legs, and your flooring.

• Designed for dining: Protect the craftsmanship of your walnut veneer furniture by ensuring it is treated as a dining and gathering space, not as a step-ladder or bench.

Living With Walnut Veneer

• Authentic character: Natural walnut veneer captures the organic beauty of real wood. Subtle variations in grain direction, earthy tone contrasts, and natural timber characteristics are hallmarks of genuine wood veneer, ensuring your piece is distinctive.

• Indoor climate: High-grade timber veneers adapt naturally to household humidity and seasonal shifts. Maintaining a stable, temperate room environment keeps the walnut finish at its best.

• Protective clear seal: Your walnut veneer is sealed with a durable protective lacquer coat engineered for everyday domestic use. Because this sealed finish does not absorb raw oils, avoid applying Danish oil, walnut oil, or silicone sprays, as they can cause surface clouding.

Accidents Can Happen

• Blot immediately: Liquid or sauce spills should be blotted straight away with a clean, dry microfibre cloth. Avoid vigorous rubbing, which can push moisture into the veneer edges.

• Targeted mild cleaning: For sticky residue, wipe gently with a well-wrung damp cloth and a drop of pH-neutral washing-up liquid, drying the surface thoroughly with a soft towel right after.

• Avoid harsh chemicals: Do not use abrasive scouring pads, bleach, multi-surface degreasers, or solvent-based cleaners that can strip the protective satin finish from the veneer.

• Surface maintenance: Hairline surface marks from everyday domestic use represent ordinary living with natural wood surfaces. Never sand a walnut veneer table, as sanding through the genuine wood layer causes irreversible damage. For minor surface touch-ups, use a matched wood repair marker.
