Our Guarantee

Aluxo’s Guarantee

Here at Aluxo, we want more people to be able to have luxurious, well-made, fashionable furniture in their home. We partner with chosen manufacturers to make sure our trend-led pieces are both affordable and built to last. We only commission items we have total confidence in, and therefore provide our customers with a free Guarantee Period as outlined below.

Guarantee Period:
  • Sofas: 5 Years
  • All Other Items: 12 Months

Our Guarantee is that we will repair or replace any part of a defective applicable product due to faulty materials free of charge within the relevant guarantee period. This applies to customers resident in Great Britain who had the product delivered to a GB address. The Guarantee does not apply once the product is taken outside of Great Britain and is non-transferable.

When your delivery arrives, please check everything carefully and contact our customer services team at hello@aluxo.co.uk as soon as possible if there are any issues.

Occurrences Excluded from the Guarantee:

Our guarantee does not cover the following issues:

  • Damage through misuse, abuse or deliberate/wilful damage.
  • Accidental damage or negligence by you or any third party.
  • Products assembled or stored incorrectly (e.g., damp or direct sunlight).
  • Cracking of wood due to extreme changes in humidity or direct heat sources.
  • Normal wear and tear including staining, excessive soiling, interior settlement, and flattening.
  • Dye transfer from non-colourfast materials, or damage through contact with chemicals/cosmetic products.
  • Alterations or repairs carried out by anyone except us.
  • Items purchased as ‘Clearance’ or ‘Ex-display’.
  • Commercial, business, or re-sale use. Our liability is limited to the order value at the time of purchase.

Making A Claim:

  • Contact us at hello@aluxo.co.uk with your order number and photographs of the issue.
  • We reserve the right to send an independent inspector to assess the product. We will abide by their decision.
  • 6-Month Threshold: For any claims made after 6 months of ownership, a £60 inspection fee is required. This fee is fully refundable if a manufacturing fault is confirmed by our technician/inspector.
  • Where repair or replacement is possible, we will do so at our discretion.
  • If an exact match for fabric is unavailable, or if repair is not possible, we will offer an equivalent product (price differences will be settled accordingly).
  • Repaired or replaced products do not start a new guarantee but enjoy the remaining term of the original guarantee.

Your Rights:

These guarantees are offered by Aluxo Ltd, registered at 32 Albury Drive, Rochdale, England, OL12 7SX.

This guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act. Further advice is available from your local Trading Standards Office or Citizens Advice Bureau.

You may be entitled to refer your complaint to The Furniture and Home Improvement Ombudsman (fhio.org, or telephone 0333 241 3209).
